American Income Life Insurance Company representatives Lisa Johnson and Josh Heskett recently presented a donation check to Elaine Harris, chairperson of United Food Operation. The donation will help provide food to needy families in Putnam and Kanawha counties.

The company joins a growing list of businesses that are helping fight food insecurity by supporting Untied Food Operation programs.

“We truly appreciate the support from our businesses community,” Harris says.

United Food Operation is a totally volunteer-run non-profit organization that operates its food bank from a warehouse in Institute, WV, in space donated by ALTIVIA’s Institute Industrial Park.
